Social, conomic and industrial revolution have influenced people's view about life, their religious beliefs and traditions These factors along with cultural awareness and man's scientific advancement have caused some changes in people's civil relationship in society. It is therefore necessary to institute some changes in laws and legal relations. n the one hand family law and especially the relationship between the couples or spouse is among those which have been affected by revolutionary changes in men and women's status in society and on the other hand the legislative bounds to traditional family law has created some problems. The hardship that a spouse has to go through during a case involving matrimonial disputes is a matter of concern for the families and socities. he sociological study of institutions of family law provides us with more insight in relation to family crisis in society.
In this article keeping in mind the complications of family law in relation to family and social crisis are addressed. While the sociological outlook of divorce law, marriage portion and judiciary procedure, some legal recommendations are offered to modify the present laws in order to decrease family crisis and to provide social welfare for divorced women and children. In fact these suggestions can be analysed and criticized from a legal and jurisprudential point of view.
